Ashland Addison is a family owned and operated florist, established in 1932 at the corner of Ashland and Addison in Chicago. It started when our grandfather, S. Roy Sheffield, was paid with flowers instead of cash by local flower growers for carting flowers to market. In turn, he made bouquets and sold them for ten to twenty five cents at the corner of Ashland and Addison, then a busy street car intersection.
Roy retired and sold the business to his sons, Bill and John, in January of 1964. The business continued and grew due to Bill and John's efforts to delivery, quality, freshness, value and service to customers, clients, and friends.

Now in its third generation, Bill, Sr.’s sons, Bill Jr. and Chris, moved the Lakeview location to 1746 W. Addison St, expanded the business into cyberspace in 1996 at www.AshAddFlorist.com and added an 11,500 square foot design, shipping and receiving facility at 1640 W. Fulton St. Further, the brothers added another location in the Galter Pavilion of Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 2000 and expanded to the western suburbs with a great location at 43 Arlington Heights Road in Elk Grove Village in 2005. Most recently, they have grown relationships with two key medical facilities in Chicago with a retail location at Rush Medical Center in the West Loop and the latest new addition in the new Northwestern Memorial Prentice Women’s Hospital. This newest addition is beautiful take off a European flower shop and called Les Fleurs de Ashland Addison boasting many fresh blooms from oversees. Daily Delivery to Chicago

We offer same delivery to Chicago and over 150 surrounding suburbs for orders
placed by 10:30 am. We have a fleet of 9 delivery vehicles and our uniformed drivers
carry digital 2-way radios to expedite delivery of your gift selection.
Now with retail locations in both the city and Chicagoland suburbs, we have enhanced our same-day delivery policy with deliveries earlier in the morning, throughout the day and later in the afternoon!
